Ever notice how sometimes characters in Leave it to Beaver may call the final meal of the day dinner and sometimes they call it supper. Sometimes, they use the two terms interchangeably as June does here. Of all the little continuity problems that are found in the show, people being called different names, having different occupations depending on the episode, varying background information on the main characters, etc., the thing that gets my “continuity” feathers ruffled seems to be what you find in the following video. I know it’s really nothing, but we can all be a bit nit-picky about something, can’t we? The following is my little thing. It’s not so much the different names for the final meal of the day, it’s the time span in which she changes the name. Watch the short video to see what I mean. Warning:There’s a six or seven second pause at the beginning of the video just so you can read the text on June Cleaver image.

“The Best Leave it to Beaver book ever!”
The above quote is from the actress Pamela Beaird. She played Mary Ellen Rogers on the show, and I am so very thankful for her kind words, and similar sentiments from hundreds of others who have purchased the book.
